According to a tweet dated the 10th. of March by Bitcoin (BTC) podcaster Peter McCormack, at least six crypto accounts were recently suspended by Twitter.
Among the accounts on the list are some of the most well-known crypto personalities on Twitter with more than 300,000 followers, such as onchain bitcoin analyst Willie Wu and creator of the BTC stock model in the PlanB stream, as well as crypto advocate TheCryptoDog. Other industry accounts such as MMCrypto, TheMoon, Koroush AK and WSBChairman, who claim the account is not affiliated with the Reddit r/WallStreetBets community, have also been suspended.

At the time of publication, five of the accounts listed are still inaccessible, while the accounts of Willie Wu and PlanB appear to have been restored. Currently, PlanB’s account seems to be fully recovered, while Willie Wu has about 600 followers.
Despite PlanB’s brief suspension, Twitter has not eliminated some of the top crypto-influencer copycats. Twitter user Ankeborgare noted that some fake PlanB accounts, such as 100TrillionUSDT and 100TrillionUSDD, were not suspended as part of the recent round of Twitter suspensions.
The eighth. In March, Twitter’s support team reported that the platform was experiencing an increase in incorrect account suspensions.
Twitter did not immediately respond to Cointelegraph’s request for comment.
